Test scope & report details
Original report pages 11–12 of 69. Manufacturer named in the report: Armor Life Lab SA de CV. The pages cover new armor samples in sizes C-1 and C-5. Reported maximum backface deformation is 35.2 mm for .357 SIG and 43.1 mm for .44 Magnum.
This documentation concerns the ballistic panels, not the textile carrier. The included ALLIGHT H panels are NIJ Certified to NIJ Standard 0101.06, Level IIIA.
Product details
VELKAR is an external-duty Level IIIA armor vest built with a durable 500D carrier and MOLLE-compatible webbing across the front, back and sides for modular duty equipment. Large hook-and-loop fields support identification patches, while adjustable shoulder and side closures help secure the fit.
Front and rear ALLIGHT H Level IIIA ballistic panels are included and NIJ Certified to NIJ Standard 0101.06. Level IIIA soft armor is intended for handgun threats and is not rifle-rated protection.
